Management control, a daily experience
All of us, more or less, unknowingly live immersed in management control.
Before going on holiday, we check our luggage, travel and identity documents because any shortcomings will cause inconvenience. Instead, when we get into a car, the on-board electronics warn us in real time about the occurrence of possible problems. What was initially just a fuel indicator, has evolved over time into a dashboard that also informs us about the insufficient tyres pressure or potential collisions with obstacles.
The management control is therefore a daily and natural activity; only by controlling we can prevent problems, improve ourselves, and maximize profits.
